During the July holidays 12 students and 4 staff flew to Cairns for a 5-day trip snorkelling and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Highlights included finding Nemo swimming about his anemone home, watching turtles grazing on algae and casually swimming past, and discovering the beautiful, colourful underwater ecology of the reef. As you can see in the video, everyone had a great time, and we returned to the Tassie winter looking forward to planning another trip to this incredible wonder of the natural world before it’s too late.
