Reminder for students wishing to apply for TASC Reasonable Adjustments

Students with a diagnosed condition, impairment, or disability (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, physical impairment, severe handwriting difficulties, diagnosed mental health condition) can apply for Reasonable Adjustments for end of year Level 3 or 4 TASC exams.

If you would like to submit an application, but have not yet done so, please contact Student Services on 6235 6559 as soon as possible. The TASC application deadline is May 29th, however applications must be submitted to Student Services by Friday 22nd May for processing by the College.

Update on Metro Tasmania Bus Services

Metro Tasmania is continuing to respond to COVID-19 under the guidance of the Department of Health, and the health and safety of passengers and staff is our highest priority.

In order to transport students to and from school, all services will continue to operate to their regular timetables.

To prioritise safety, our free travel period has been extended until Sunday 31 May.  Additionally, rear-door boarding has been implemented on all services state-wide until further notice.

Any passenger with an access challenge that restricts them from boarding from the rear door can still board and alight from the front door by asking their driver.

Greencards will remain free for the duration of our free travel period. Any passenger without a Greencard is encouraged to get one by signing up on the Metro Tasmania website, or by visiting a Metro Shop, depot or agent.

We are living through a really difficult time with social distancing and being isolated from friends and our support structures.  Many students may be feeling anxious about a range of things.

The Student Services Team will continue to offer support to Elizabeth College students during normal school hours. Outside of school hours and during school break students should use the external agencies listed below.

To make an appointment to speak with an EC counsellor students and parents can phone Sarah on 62356559 or email on during school hours.  All appointments are currently being conducted by phone or teleconference.
