The Student Accommodation Allowance (SAA) provides financial assistance for students in years 11 and 12 who must live away from their usual Tasmanian home in order to study subjects that are not available at their local registered government or non-government school. Applications from eligible students must be received by the Department prior to 21 September. Click here for more information.
Students received their Term 3 reports in Home Group today. We encourage students to read the teacher’s comments carefully and reflect on how they might respond to this feedback. We invite parents and carers to make an appointment to discuss their child’s progress with teachers at our Parent Teacher evening on Thursday 30 August.
Preliminary enrolments sessions will be held at the following locations for Year 10 students coming to the college in 2019. The Department of Education conducts School Satisfaction Surveys every year in all Tasmanian Government schools, to gain feedback on what you think your school does well and where you think it can improve.
We encourage all students, parents and staff to complete the survey about Elizabeth College. The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback is important to help inform school planning and decision-making.
Students will have received a text message and parents will have received an email with a link and password today (Wednesday 15th August). All survey responses are anonymous. All feedback goes to the school principal in a report with no individuals identified, and with all comments exactly as worded.
You can complete the survey at any time until Friday 24 August 2018.
Year 11 students will be attending a Subject Expo to assist them with their Year 12 choices for 2019 on Wednesday 15 August. Parents are invited to attend our “Survival Tool Kit for Parents” that evening 5.30-6.30 pm in the College Theatre for advice on how to support young people through their college experience.
