ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

HOME GROUP & ECAAD CAMP

You will join one of four Home Groups, who all meet together, and an overnight camp at the beginning of the year will help you get to know new Year 11 students and current Year 12 students.

CONTEMPORARY ISSUES & CULTURE

You will hear from some amazing guest speakers, attend performances and have the opportunity to debate big ideas that go beyond the curriculum.

WELLBEING & STUDY SKILLS

Over the course of the year, you will participate in workshops to help you develop your study, time management and exam preparation skills, as well as your wellbeing and resilience.

UTAS HIGH ACHIEVERS

If you want to take your studies beyond the TCE, we actively support students who wish to apply for the University of Tasmania High Achiever Program.

THE ECAAD DIPLOMA

The ECAAD programme is designed to help you develop as a strong, resilient, connected and contributing individual. At the end of Year 12 you will be awarded the ECAAD Diploma when you meet the following criteria:
  • Attain an Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) of 90+ at the end of their College studies
  • Participate in the activities offered by the programme
  • Actively contribute to the wider life of the college and broader community
  • Participate in community service activities whist at College, and
  • Study pre-tertiary English and subjects from at least three of the other National Curriculum learning areas (Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, HPE, HASS, Technology and the Arts)
