We are very excited to announce the Elizabeth College musical for 2018 as All Shook Up! All Shook Up is a jukebox musical with Elvis Presley music and with a book by Joe DiPietro, based on the plot of Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT. It’s 1955 and into a square little town somewhere in the mid-west rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swivelling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Love Me Tender,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” This is a strong ensemble show with many large roles as well as opportunities for smaller acting roles and the cast or on stage for most of the show. We can’t wait to start rehearsals next year!!!
Come along and see the amazing Elizabeth College Music Students in Recital. Two different evenings, two different music programs. September 12th and 13th, starting at 7.00 pm. Elizabeth College Theatre, $5 Admission, tickets available at the door (EC staff and students free).
