School Trips

Elizabeth College is planning to run a number of School Trips in 2021.

Due to the ongoing situation of COVID-19, the restriction on school groups travelling will be monitored and reviewed as border restrictions ease. We will update our position in Term 1 incorporating further advice from Public Health. We will call for Expressions of Interest in early 2021.

Students must maintain regular attendance in all of their classes and be up to date with schoolwork to be eligible to participate in any school trip. Students will be required to adhere to the Code of Conduct applicable to the tour.

Great Barrier Reef Dive and Snorkelling Tour

25 September - 29 September 2021

The 4-night/5-day Great Barrier Reef trip occurs at the start of the Term 3 holidays, departing Hobart on Saturday 25th September. The trip has exciting links to senior biology and environmental science courses, it’s a wonderful way to see this natural wonder of the world, and a great opportunity to escape the chilly south for a few days. For those students doing pre-tertiary subjects it’s also a chance to have a well-earned and very important break before the sprint to the final examinations begins. The trip is perfect for students who would like to snorkel on the GBR and for those who can already scuba dive, or who plan to learn to dive beforehand. The trip will cost $2200 per student (“all-inclusive”), which can be paid in instalments, and up to 16 students can participate. An Expression of Interest form and payment details will be made available in early 2021.

Mount Hotham Ski Trip
